Specific meeting location at Ma-le'l Dunes will be announced prior to the workshop. Due to the low cost of this workshop, we are not offering member or student discounts - there is a $20 flat fee for all - these funds will be used to offset travel costs for the instructor. Bumble Bee Workshop Morning Session (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

In this workshop, we'll learn about bumble bee ecology, host plant relationships, conservation, and more. We'll learn to catch, safely handle, and identify the unique bumble bee fauna of the North Coast, as well as how to participate in the California Bumble Bee Atlas. In particular, we'll cover insect photography and field data collection methods. This will be a fun and relaxing day getting to know these important California native insects!
